After a Windows update, I got more hopeful as the game lasted. The re-releases for BioShock and BioShock 2 came to Windows PC yesterday. I read through the old 3D vision Bioshock 2 thread and the Helixmod comments (where I found the texture setting fix). Once Bioshock 2 Torrent Download is done downloading, right-click on the torrent and select Open Containing Folder. My first night playing it was truly terrible, crashing after merely 40 seconds on each attempt. If path not found look under C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Bioshock2\User.ini. Method 1: Open the file C:\Users\AppData\Bioshock2\User.ini with a text editor. Texture Detail on High works fine without the 3D fix, no crashes.
